Keep your lawn well mown
Regular mowing of your lawn will keep the grass in great shape, and will mean that it doesn’t take you too long as you are just taking a little off the top. Don’t cut it too short or you’ll end up with brown patches when the weather is dry. June is a good month for top dressing and fertilizing your lawn as the grass will be in full growth.

Tidy your shed
If you haven’t done so already this year, now is a great time to tidy out your shed. Clear out all the unwanted and broken clutter ready for the summer season.

Think about keeping chickens
Fresh eggs from your own free-range chickens – what could be better! Our chickens produce the best eggs we’ve ever tasted, and they add a little character to your garden. You don’t need a lot of space, and they produce great fertilizer for your home compost.

Most of all… Enjoy your garden
June is a wonderful month. The days are long and the weather is warm. Sit in the sunshine with your favourite drink to hand, and enjoy all your hard work!
